This is at once the funniest and one of the most fun Groups on TeamSugar...have rarely taken inventory of what's in my bag, so I myself am amused, and it's funny thinking that all of these people I don't know now know something about me that my best friends don't even know, and that you'd even care! So, my way of saying KUDOS to the member who created this Group......Here Goes:

1) To start with the bag itself, mine is made by the same designer as in the pic above. His name is Makowsky (Bruce? or Bill?) and his creations (clutches too) are simply fabulous. My own bag is a bit smaller than this, in medium to dark brown, and with lots more hardware. Makowsky used to design for NineWest, which is ironic when you take into account that almost all of NineWest are knock-offs of other designers, and Makowsky designs for the most part are true, original, non-derivative works of art! Celebs I can see really loving this line are Zooey Deschanel, Parker Posey, Mischa Barton, Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Helena Christensen, Agyness Deyn, Gisele Bundchen, I could explain why, but the point as I understand it is to reveal what's IN my bag, so feel free to private message me if you want to know the rationale underlying my celebrity choices above.

2) Makeup essentials that are mostly Chanel and Laura Mercier, including about 4 different shades of bright red lipstick (including for those of you who know me, Chanel's Coco Red -- a shade I've now decided is year-round! LOL.)

3) Extra bobby pins just in case.

4) Vitamin D-packed Calcium (good for women's bones!)

5) Reading material in case I get caught waiting: the latest V issue, W mag with Penelope on the cover, a book called, *Watching Television* (just like everything else I believe that TV-quality content and sophisticated TV-like advertising and demographic-targeting principles are migrating to the Internet. Despite the fact this book was written in the 80s, my Hollywood TV-writer CEO claims those same basic principles for the most part hold true today...........Parts of NYT, WSJ, and SF Chronicle that I've ripped out to read more closely.(And I already devoured this issue of USWeekly, or it'd be in there too! Smiling

6) My new Chloe 3123 Sunglasses (in Black...LOVE 'EM!...and if you want a pair buy it onlilne through a comparative shopping site. You can get them so much cheaper than the price they retail at stores).

7) My 12-year old black Marc Jacobs wallet that still looks brand new!

Cool My cell phone and car/home keys. Still waiting to buy a new iPhone, and car is an old 2002 Saab that is like family to me, and my keys are to my relatively new sanctuary (what my friends and I have called each of our homes) on Hayes Street, the swankiest street in all of San Francisco (sorry, I'm admittedly biased...big time Smiling).

9) iPod with favorites like "New Soul", "Piece of Me", "Love Song", "Devil's Town" (from the TV series, "Friday Night Lights"), "Step Up" (from the movie with the same name).

10) Necklace that my best friends collectively banded together to buy me for my last birthday....Awwww....! Have travelled with many of them as far as Kilimanjaro (highest peak in Africa), the island of Zanzibar, Khatmandu, South Africa, West Africa, Brazil, the Swiss Alps (snowboarding heaven), and New Orleans (always was and always will be one of my favorite American cities) Eye-wink

11) Brown leather Folio with some social media property material...am interviewing and LOVE this space. Right now I have two business CEO clients in digiral (my word for digital and viral at the same time) media, and looking at various opportunities...

12) Great Comme de Garcons advertising (I just love it; most irreverent, artistic advertising I've seen; and luckily am still on the NY Store's mailing list)! Plus an old MJ look book.

13) Two bottles of water with peach Crystal light packs to drink throughout the day.

14) A picture of my dad at age 29 or so, and my best friend and me that is a cut-out from the photo booth pictures (you know what I mean, right?). It's from when she just said 'see you later' to her husband and two girls and flew to the States (I was living in NY at the time) to just hang out and make sure I pampered her and took her shopping for about 5 days..

15) A silver heart that's tiny and feels good both physically and spiritually when I just hold it in my hand.

16) Pens, Paper...Never know when some idea or phone number will come that you want to jot down!

17) Red Leather 2008 Nieman Marcus Pocket date book with bills I need to send (I know, I know: I'm a dinosaur).

18) Colorful, fun scarf if it gets cold.

I bet you are all asleep by now..that is, if you even got this far Smiling

xoxo,
